Exploration of harmonic and polyphonic music; musical form and styles
Accompaniment
Judith will accompany grade exams for any instrument or voice for all grades as mentioned and concert performance
Church Organist
Judith is currently committed to the local parish church but is available for services, weddings and funerals
About Judith
JUDITH BLACKBURN | B.PHIL.ED; L.R.A.M. CERT. ED.
Judith is a licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music specializing in pianoforte teaching and holds the degree of Bachelor of Philosophy in Educational Studies specialising in music education.
Located in Sandiacre, Judith has spent her career as a music specialist in schools and as a piano teacher. She is a member of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and holds a DBS certificate. Judith is also a choir trainer and conductor having trained choirs in the North East and in the Midlands as well as conducting choirs on the international stage. Judith is currently a church organist and choir mistress at a local parish church and is teaching piano following the A.B.R.S.M syllabus.
Judith’s decorated music career stretches over multiple decades, from this, Judith has gained a wealth of experience in passing a variety of students through examinations and performances, therefore establishing a range of teaching skills suitable for either beginners, intermediate or advanced learners.
